The place where one trains karate is called a Dojo. The discipline inside a dojo is always strict, and the relationship between the teacher and student should always be formal.
Dogi (Gi) Uniform
The Dogi, or Gi as it is often referred to, is the name of the uniform that karate practitioners wear when training. The Dogi is white and usual has the Kyokushin kanji on the left breast.
